William B. Renninger, 81, of Patchel Run Road, Franklin RD 3, was killed instantly as he walked along the highway near his home about 9:30 pm Monday. A native of Sugarcreek Township, he was born Feb. 24, 1898, a son of Perry L. and Rachel Brown Renninger.
He retired from the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company, where he worked a number of years.
He married Rachel Norris June 24, 1920 and she survives, with two sons. William E. Renninger of Franklin RD 4, and Perry S. Renninger of Oil City; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Milner of Pomona, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Gladys) Cosper of Titusville, and Mrs. George (Helen) Sires of Utica; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
