Mrs. Charlotte L. (Morganthall) Wilders, 86, of 3618 West Avenue, Greencastle, PA, passed away at 12:15 A.M., Friday, September 28, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Born February 7, 1926 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Teresa J. (Ferguson) Morganthall. She lived her early life in Ringgold, MD.
She and her husband, the late Mr. Eugene Thomas Wilders, were married December 17, 1945. He passed away December 5, 1998. Mrs. Wilders was a homemaker.
She was a member of Antrim Faith Baptist Church, Waynesboro and enjoyed doing word search puzzles, drawing and bird watching. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by eight children: Lynda J. Williams of Waynesboro, PA; Kay Bream of Rouzerville, PA; Deborah R. Provard of Waynesboro; James G. Wilders of Greencastle; George F. Wilders of Fairfield, PA; Darryl E. Wilders of Greencastle; John Tim Wilders of Mont Alto, PA; and Keith C. Wilders of Rouzerville; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three children, Barbara Dale, Cynthia Wilders and an infant son: Terry Wilders; a grandson: Donald Bream, Jr.; and her brother: Walter Morganthall.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Herbert S. Busick officiating. Burial will follow in Fountaindale Union Cemetery, Liberty Township, Adams County, PA.
