Powell Tribune, Powell, Wyoming – Saturday, Sept 3, 1910:

GONE TO HER REWARD

At 11:30 o'clock in the forenoon, August 26, 1910, Mrs. A. H. Glasgow passed from the troubles of this life to the abiding peace of the great beyond. Death was not unexpected, her relatives here at Powell and her mother, Mrs. Geo. D. Blackburn, being in attendance. M. Luella Blackburn was born at Jacksonville, Illinois, March 29th. 1872. There she grew up to womanhood and received her education, being a graduate of the Jacksonville High School and the Illinois Woman's College, also at Jacksonville. It was there too that she became the wife of Mr. Glasgow on the 25th day of June, 1901. Several years later her health began to fail and with a view to recuperation, she spent the winter of 1907-1908 in Sandiago, California, coming directly from there to join her husband here at Powell. At no time since has her health been perfect.

Though unable to mingle freely in society during her residence here, Mrs. Glasgow impressed all with whom she came in contact by her gentle and refined manners and by her womanly attainments. Mrs. Glasgow was a lifelong church worker, having joined the Methodist Episcopal Church at the age of twelve. She was also a charter member of the Union Presbyterian Church at Powell. While of necessity forced to be a quiet and retired member of this community, her untimely taking away is keenly felt and the heartfelt sympathies of our people go out to those who are left behind. There is left surviving her, a husband, her son, Arthur Allen aged seven, her parents and four sisters. Services and interment took place at Powell, Sunday, August 28th, 1910.
