Nadine Majors Champ was born the daughter of Alph Vaut, 1890 – 1954, and Addie Belle (Tompkins) Vaught, 1890 – 1974.

Her sibling was Andrew Olen Vaut, Sr., who died in 1989.

On 3 Aug 1940, at the age of 20, she married Paul Raymond Majors in Pauls Valley, Garvin Co., OK.

She and her husband owned and operated the local Purcell television sales and service, which also served as an S & H Stamp awards distributorship.

On 24 Jun 1989 she married Edward Humus Champ in Purcell, OK. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Purcell.
