Funeral services for Thomas C Cowan, 60, native of Sheffield, Ala, were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Sunday, June 3 at 4 p.m. with burial in the City cemetery.
Mr Cowan died at the family home on West Avenue North of a heart attack early Saturday morning, after complaining of chest pains the night before.
Besides his wife, the former Lucille Tollet, he is survived by a son, Donald; a step-son Jack Crownover; 5 sisters, all of whom live in Alabama.
