Mrs. Lena Kinnen, 68, of Caldwell died Sunday morning [30 Oct 1960] at Samaritan Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born in Noble County on Jun 22, 1892, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Ritterbeck Crum, and was a lifelong resident of the county. She was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church at Caldwell.
Surviving are her husband, Henry, twin sons, Wilbert and Gilbert, both of Caldwell; three daughters, Mrs. Bernetta Brown of Canton, Mrs. Beulah Hill of Ava Route 1, and Mrs. Gladys Doyle of Massillon; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Schwallie of North Canton, Mrs. Marie Noll of Zanesville, Mrs. Clara Smithberger of near lower Salem, and Mrs. Rose Lori of Johnsonville, Ill.
The body was take to Estadt Funeral Home here where the Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. at St. Philomena Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Fr. Stephen J. Pekalla, the Rev., Fr. Joseph Wargo and the Rev. Fr. J. J. Donaldson. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery here.
