Lewis Edmond "Bill" Riley, 84. died Sunday, June 11, 2006 in Amarillo. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia Street.
Mr. Riley was born in Wellington to Issac and Maggie Riley. He graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. In 1958 he married Ann P. Brice in Amarillo.
He had a career in the restaurant business. Mr. Riley was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three children, Gary, Joy and Jason; four sisters; and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Brice Riley; a stepdaughter, Kathy Hawley of San Antonio; four sons, Joe Riley of Jackson, Mississippi, John Riley of Denver, Ronnie of Amarillo and Doug of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
