Funeral Wednesday Afternoon for Piedmont Matron

Mrs. John Boles, age 64, of Piedmont, Route 4, died yesterday afternoon (Monday, July 13, 1942) at a Rome, GA hospital after an illness of one week. Mrs. Boles, the daughter of the late D. J. Hause, Piedmont, was a member of a pioneer and well known Calhoun County family. A sister, Mrs. J. J. Worsham and other relatives live in Anniston.
Funeral services are to be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Piedmont First Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. W. D. Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Goshen Cemetery with Usrey directing.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Ernest Boles, Richard Boles and Maurice Boles; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Taylor, Mrs. Mary Emerson and Miss Johnnie Boles, all of Piedmont; a brother, W. L. Hause of Piedmont; and four sisters, Mrs. George P. Haslam, Sr. and Mrs. W. L. Evans, both of Piedmont, Mrs. J. J. Worsham of Anniston and Mrs. Frank Luck of Gadsden.
