Mrs. Nottingham, former postmaster at Servia, was fatally injured when the westbound car she was driving went out of control and hit a tree off W. Va. 4 near Ivydale at about 1 p.m. Friday, Trooper Larry Henry of the Clay detachment said. She was alone in the car.

Mrs. Nottingham was a member of the Villanova Baptist Church at Servia and was a member of the Strange Creek Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving: husband, Raymond; daughters, Mrs. Bernice Moore of Servia, Mrs. Anna Lee Slack of Glenville and Mrs. Linda Akers of Russell, Ky.; sons, Norman of Servia, James of Duck and Larry of Gainsville, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Lula Nottingham of Waldolph, Md., Mrs. Georgia Cox of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Ella Faye Carte of Columbus, Ohio; and brother, Clifford Mollohan of Sutton.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral at Clay with the Rev. C. C. Dobbins and the Rev. Denzil Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in the Jack Point Cemetery at Servia.

The Order of the Eastern Star will hold special rites at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
