Brenda Sue Clark went to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home in Cleveland at the age of 62 years, seven months and twenty two days.
Brenda was born February 4, 1950 in Yale, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jaybee Thomas and Lillian Lorrain (Fox) Cochran. As a young girl Brenda grew up in Osage and later moved with her family to Cleveland. She began her education in Terlton and completed her high school education at Cleveland High School. Brenda was united in marriage to Paul Palkovich in 1965 and to that union there are two children Kim and Jamie. She was later united in marriage to Tim Dobbs in 1973 and to that union there is one daughter Stephanie. Brenda gained employment with the Cleveland Public Schools in the cafeteria in 1975. She continued working at the school until 1985. Brenda also worked at Wal-Mart from 1982 until 1988. On July 25, 1992, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Brenda was united in marriage to the love of her life Jim Clark. The two made their home in Cleveland where she has continued to reside. In 1999, Brenda returned to work in the school cafeteria and retired in 2007.
Brenda loved to play practical jokes on people and really knew how to have fun. She also enjoyed playing cards especially with her family and grandkids. Holidays were special at Brenda's home. From the decorations to the wrapping paper fights she loved every minute spent with her family. She also loved to go shopping with the girls. Easter at Brenda's was usually an egg hunt as well as a game of baseball with the eggs found. Brenda and Jim loved to travel especially to Arkansas or just a short trip to someplace close. Brenda was formerly a song leader and Sunday school teacher for many years. She is a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Most of all in life Brenda loved her children, grandchildren and family very much.

Church services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Edens officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
