Gladys Mattison, Age 98, of RD 1, Morris, PA died January 19, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY. She was the wife of the late Enoch Blackwell who died in 1936 and the late Kenneth (Sparkey) Mattison who died in 1981. She was born November 23, 1903 in Slate Run, Pa., the daughter of the late Jesse and Josephine Tomb Hilborn.
She was a homemaker and loving Mother and life time member of the Blackwell Methodist Church, Blackwell, Pa.
Surviving are Sons and Daughters-in-law, Enoch and Stella Blackwell, Corning, NY, Jesse and Sun Yong Blackwell, Blackwell, Pa., Lane Blackwell, Blackwell, Pa., Donald and Martha Blackwell, Blackwell, Pa., and Burdette and Wilma Blackwell, Warner Robin, GA; Daughters and Son-in-law, June Smith, Blackwell, Pa., and Joan and Fred Flick, Elmira, NY; 16 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Mamie Livermore, Williamsport, Pa.,; Several Nieces.
She was preceded in death by a Son, Theryl Blackwell, in 1993.
