Family moved to Fort Worth 1917 & lived at 2301 Prairie Avenue until her marriage March 11,1938. She was energetic,and loved to have fun with family and friends. and was a good seamstress and cook. She helped her Mom, Lena, care for sister,Elsie, who became mentally ill shortly after she married. She had three children, Janet Ellen, Jim Ed, and Kathy Ilene. Esther and Johnnie celebrated their 61st anniversary,and after a courageous 4 year battle with breast cancer; she went to her Lord and Savior.
