Isaac Rothrock was the third of ten known children of Joseph Rothrock (1776-1848) and Anna Rothrock (1772-1822), who married c1793 in presumably Pennsylvania. After Anna died, Joseph remarried to the widow Barbara Palmer Sell (1777-1867), but had no further children.
Isaac went to Medical School and became a physician. He was also elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1866. Isaac lived much of his life in Adamsburg (now called Beaver Springs), Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
Isaac first married to Mary Ann Lechner (1802-1826) in presumably Pennsylvania. It is not believed that Isaac and Mary had any children.
After Mary died, Isaac remarried to Susannah Swenk (1814-1852) in c1829 in presumably Pennsylvania. Isaac and Susannah were the parents of six known children, namely:
1. Roswell R. Rothrock (1831-1897)
2. Mary Ann Rothrock Heckendorn Derr (1832-1913)
3. Isaac S. Rothrock (1835-1906)
4. Harriet Catherine Rothrock Herlacher (1837-1927)
5. David Calvin Rothrock (1842-1898)
6. Allen E Rothrock (1851-1916)
After Susannah died, Isaac remarried to the widow Mrs. Lydia Bowersox Leonard (1813-1857) in c1852 at presumably Pennsylvania. Isaac and Ada were the parents of one known child, namely:
7. Ada L. Rothrock Long (1854-1903)
After Lydia died, Isaac remarried to Angelina Wallace (1826-1880) on 21 Feb 1858 at Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. Isaac and Angelina had no children together.
