Connie Fay Bittinger, 67, of 23660 McMullen Highway, Rawlings, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born Feb. 5, 1943, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Bernard L. and Erma M. (Evans) Guy.
Mrs. Bittinger was a homemaker, and she enjoyed going camping.
She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Dayton Bittinger; two sons, Troy Bittinger of Rawlings and Bernie Bittinger of McCoole; three daughters, Kathy VanMeter of Westernport, Susie Bittinger of McCoole, and Karen Guinn of Westernport. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Keith VanMeter, Chasity Bittinger, Kristen VanMeter, Shayla Bittinger, Montana VanMeter, Aaron VanMeter, Dylan Bittinger, Macy Guinn, Cambria Guinn, and Alysha Bittinger, and her special pet cat "Precious."
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Randall Larry officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
