In 1897 she was married to Henry "Frank" Buchs, to this union two daughters were born Louise and Lela. He died in 1914 and is buried at Berne, Minnesota.
Those who preceded her in death are sons Henry and William, six grandchildren, six brothers and one sister. Those surviving are: Anna and Albert of Douglas, Thomas and Louise near Berne, Kathryn of Kasson, Jacob in Ray, and Lela of Blue Earth, all in Minnesota. Also two sisters survive in Switzerland. She has 37 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, many friends and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Buch were held from the Thomas Strieff home at 1:30 Friday and from the Berne Church at 2 pm with Rev. Edwin Vornholt officiating. Burial was in the Berne Cemetery, Dodge County, Minnesota
