Westernport, MD. --
Lois Reed Ravenscroft, 65, formerly of Stoney Run Road, and most recently of Moran Manor Nursing Home, passed away Friday June 12, 2009 at the nursing home.
Born November 27, 1943 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Agnes M. (Riley) Ravenscroft. Her sister, Betty Lambert, also preceded her in death.
Lois was a 1961 graduate of Bruce High School. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind a brother, Frank Ravenscroft JR and wife Virginia of Westernport, two sisters, Phyllis Miller and husband Perry of Westernport, and Helen C. Ravenscroft of WMHS Nursing Center, Frostburg, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 1 PM to 3 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Carl Cowan officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport..
