Mr. Richard Mark Phillips, age 51 of Dry Prong passed away at 4:48 pm on September 22, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Phillips served Our Country for twelve years. He served Our Country with Honor and Pride. He was a Tank Commander in the 1st Gulf War. He loved God, his Country, LSU, Saints, and Cowboys.
Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by his mother, Cornelia Phillips; father, Frelson Phillips Sr. and Chance Smith.
He is survived by his wife Shelia Phillips, daughters; Melissa Phillips, Kim Smith, Chloe Johnson, sons; Joshua Phillips, Bruce and wife Heather Phillips. Bruce Phillips, who is on active duty in England; and Cory Smith; brothers, Frelson Phillips Jr., Glenn Phillips, and Don Phillips; sisters, Linda Morrow, and Sandra Locker; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loved ones.
