She was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest son, Edward Smith, and seven brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 59 years, James H. Goza; her sons, William Smith, Jimmy Goza, Donald Goza, and David Goza and his wife Monica Goza; her grandsons, Michael Goza and Rick Goza and his wife Ann Goza; her great-granddaughters, MaLea Goza, McKenzie Goza and Ella Goza; her brother, Bobby Raynor and his wife Pearl Raynor; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Tyshie was known for her spunky attitude, continuous generosity, deep spiritual convictions and genuine love for others. She was a faithful and much loved member of The Forward in Christ Pentecostal Church. Her pastor, Randy Gainey and his wife, Maxine Gainey were more than just her "pastors"; Tyshie loved them like her own children.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 3: 00 p.m. Friday, September 28th, 2012, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Shipyard Blvd
