ADAMS, DORIS FREDDIE WEATHERBY born in Lorena, TX on January 18, 1923 to Leonard C. and Nannie Mae Weatherby and entered into heaven on September 24, 2012.

Growing up in McGregor, Texas she was a Future Farmers of America Queen and a Rangerette of the McGregor Chamber of Commerce. "Freddie" attended North Texas University before marrying Frank Adams on June 5, 1943. They were married for 67 years.

She is survived by her children Joan Hilton, Rick Adams, Kay Radla and Dede Coats. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Amy and Bobby Hunniford; Rachel, Michael, and Shane O'Brien; Trey, Harrison and Katy Coats and her sister Joyce Jenkins of Humble, Texas.

A member of Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church and for the past 40 years an active member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and the ABC Sunday School Class. She was involved in the Farmers Branch Womans Club. She was also an active member and served as president of the Petroleum Accounts Society of Dallas Wives (now COMS of Dallas). She was involved in her children's lives serving in Bluebirds, Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts and W.T. White High School Drill Team Moms and Choir Boosters. Her hobbies included bridge, dancing, reading, cooking, gardening and traveling. Freddie really appreciated all of her bridge and church friends and your never ending kindness.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on September 28 at Chapel Hill UMC at 12411 Templeton Trail, Famers Branch, TX 75234. Memorials can be sent to Chapel Hill UMC Endowment Fund.
