Philip Edler, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of this city, died at his home, Du Pont road, Richardson Park, last Friday. Mr. Edler was born in Konig-Stadten, Germany in 1838, and came to this country when a boy of 13. He was a veteran of the Civil War. For many years he was a member of Immanuel Episcopal Church, Wilmington. He is survived by his widow and 10 children - John H., William, Curtis, Mrs. Mary Jimeson, Mrs. John C. Rau, of this city; Joseph, Alfred Meade, Bertha, Charlotte and Mrs. L. Y. Dunham.
