Conrad Schuessler (97774683)
Sadness and sorrow have cast their gloom in our midst on Friday as Mr. C.G. Schuessler of the Prairie Mountain community in Llano County breathed his last. He was born in Cherry Spring, Gillespie County. In 1870, he and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schuessler, Sr., moved to Mason County. He lived here until January 1921, when he and his family moved to Llano County, settling in the Prairie Mountain Community. At an early age, Mr. Schuessler became a member of the Lutheran Church. On 2 January 1898, he married Miss Anna Holtzer of Leiningen Texas. To this union, five children were born, all of whom survive with the mother. He is survived by his aged mother; five brothers - J.A. Schuessler, F.H. Schuessler, A.R. Schuessler, Henry Schuessler, George W. Schuessler; two sisters - Mrs. William Baueer, Mrs. T.C. Schorlemmeer. He was preceded in death by his father, three sisters; one brother. Services were held at the grave in Cherry Spring officiated by Rev. H.A. Heineche of Doss and Rev. P.C. Schroeder of Casteel.
