Raymond S. Salmons, 65, Lebanon, formerly of Versailles, died Dec. 4, 2001, at Christian Healthcare South, Lebanon.

He was born Aug. 28, 1936, in Tipton, a son of James W. and Mary Helen Boyce Salmons. He was married to Suan Hall, who survives.

He was an earth mover operator for Howard Construction Company and later did farm work.

Other survivors include: one son, Raymond Rolla Salmons, Stoutland; and one brother Wyatt Boyce "Bill" Salmons, Memphis, Tenn.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Glensted Cemetery, near Versailles. The Rev. Gailya Dow will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the Raymond S. Salmons Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles
