There passed away at her home in South Norwich, on Friday evening, April 11, 1930, Alice Schmouse, relict of the late Joseph Donnelly in her 70th year. Having been in failing health for some time she was confined to her bed for nine months. The funeral was held on Monday, Apr 14, internment being made in R.C. cemetery, LaSalette, Ont. The bearers were R.J. Purtill, Dan Purtill, Lorry O'Brien, Alban Dwyer, Elmer Cutler, George Zimmer.

Deceased leaves to mourn her demise, four daughters and three sons, also one brother and one sister. Those present at the funeral from a distance were: Mr. Samuel Graham, London; Mr. W.J. Graham, Montreal; Mr. and Mrs. John Schmouse, Woodstock, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schmouse, Woodstock. Also the many friends and neighbors from the surrounding district.
