Bethany Katharine Black Hinton, 95, of Hot Springs, passed away September 24, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. She was a long-time resident of Little Rock and had lived in Star City for the last few years. Katharine was born in McNeil, Arkansas, to the late Jessie Cooper Black and Essie Edna Thompson Black. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Paul Wilborn Hinton, and an infant daughter, Paula Kay Hinton. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and three sisters and a wonderful step-mother, Lola Lois Lowman Black. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Leech and husband Robert Leech, Jr., of Hot Springs, one granddaughter, Dr. Ashley Leech Fields (Dr. Patrick), her grandson, Paul Douglas Leech (Gretchen) of Little Rock, and one great-grandson, Robert Triston Leech. She is also survived by one brother, Thurston Black of Texarkana, and one sister, Mary Sue Blevins of Strong. She had many nieces and nephews whom she cherished and loved so much.
Katharine was a homemaker and was one who loved everyone she met, especially her God, church, and her church family.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale of Hot Springs with burial in Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne, Arkansas.
