Moses P. Bozarth was son of Isaac McGuire "Ike" Bozarth and Martha Catherine League originally from Smithfield, DeKalb County, Tennessee. He was born on August 25, 1895 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah. His paternal grandparents were James Henry Bozarth and Mary Ball Smith. His maternal grandparents were Joshua League and Elizabeth Jane Pedigo. His middle initial of P. probably stood for Pedigo in honor of his Pedigo legacy through his grandmother Elizabeth Jane Pedigo League, who was the daughter of Moses Pedigo and Elizabeth Ferrell. Moses P. Bozarth died on his ninth birthday on August 25, 1904. He was buried in the Paragonah Cemetery in Paragonah, Iron County, Utah. His parents were later buried in the same cemetery.
