Additional information, C. M. Gregg, 2013:

"Thanks for making the links and additions to Jane Farnsworth Warner (JFW). As I said, her parents are Henry Farnsworth (son of Samuel Farnsworth and Elizabeth Fisher) and Jane Chapman, daughter of Harmon Chapman and Ann (_).

"Henry and Jane have two other daughters buried in East Palmyra. I will add their memorials once I have studied the data a bit more. It is confusing and I need to look for church records and the 1865 census before I post anything else about the other children of Jane Chapman. There were several family deaths in Mar & Apr 1862 so apparently some disaster befell the family.

"JFW's father remarried after the Civil War and had another family. However, Jane is included as Henry's daughter in his obituary. I have Henry's probate file which I will check to see if JFW was listed as a legal heir.

"JFW was apparently raised by her maternal grandparents, Harmon and Ann Chapman and went by Jane Chapman for several years. Jane age 8 is with the Chapman family in the 1870 census. The Chapmans lived next door to the Warners."
