Charlie Wilson Lile died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Amos Nunn at Exie, Wed. 28 Aug [1953] at 2:10 pm. The son of the late John Lile and Mrs. Queen Tillie Houk Lile, he was born in Green Co. 13 Sept 1875. He was united in marriage to Miss Ada Magdaline Ennis Dec 1896. She preceded him in death 2 Nov 1945. To this union 5 daughters and 5 sons were born. Surviving are: Mrs. Pearl Whitlock, Mrs. Ruth Nunn, Exie; Mrs. Irene Kelly, Greensburg; Mrs. Ruby Wilcoxson, Mason City, Ill; Wayne and Clifton Lile, Exie; Clifford Lile, Indianapolis, Ind; Dick Lile, Mason City, Ill. He is also survived by 1 brother, June Lile, Indianapolis, Ind; 38 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Greasy Creek Baptist Church, Fri at 10:00 am with Rev. V.A. Jones in charge. Burial was in the Old Liletown Cem. Pallbearers were his grandsons.
