Augustus Milledge Stalnaker, 85, died March 16 at Hospice Savannah.
The native of Wadley had lived in Savannah since 1965. He was a retired Air Force senior master sergeant who had served during World War II. He also retired from Armstrong State College after 15 years.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Violet M. Stalnaker of Savannah; three daughters, Patricia M. Stalnaker of Savannah, Mary Lee Hyche and Linda Sue Potts, both of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Robert H. Stalnaker of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 4-6 p.m. today at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
