"Dewey Daniel Mounts, 85, died Monday morning at a local hospital.
Mr. Mounts was born in Craig, Mo., and had been a lifelong resident of Nodaway County. He was a member of the Wilcox United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Belle Allen Mounts, in 1974.
Surviving are a daughter, Audrey Brown of Maryville, Mo.; one sister, Iva Campbell of Raytown, Mo.; one brother, Lloyd Mounts of Arvada, Colo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville." St Joseph Gazette, January 25, 1983
