The 1930 Census shows Carl and Dorothy living in South Franklin Street in Titusville PA with their son Richard.
Carl was a baker and moved to the Franklin, PA in 1946 to work at Imbers Bakery. He worked at several bakeries over the years including the Zofco Pastry Shop in Warren, PA where he retired from in 1970. He died at his home on Tyler St., Franklin, PA.

Carl J. Huff, 68, of 7 Tyler St., Franklin, a retired baker, died last night at his home. He was pronounced dead on arrival in Franklin Hospital. He had been admitted to the hospital on Aug. 15, and was discharged Wednesday. He was stricken ill at home. Born April 20, 1905, in Butler he was the son of Frank and Magdelena Randig Huff. He had spent his early years in the Butler Area and attended public schools here. In 1946, he moved to Franklin to work at Imbers Bakery. He had lived in Franklin since that time, working at several bakeries in the area prior to retiring in 1970 from the Zofko Pastry Shop in Warren, Ohio. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy M. Long Huff, whom he married April 28, 1924; two sons, Richard C. Huff of Franklin and Gerald H. Huff of Warren, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. David (Gloria) Greenlee of Franklin; eight grandchildren, a great-grandchild; five sisters, Mrs. Carl (Mary) Bucey, Mrs. Herbert (Bertha) Berry, Mrs. Anna Ramsey, Mrs. Joseph (Martha) McLaughlin and Mrs. Clayton (Josephone) Miller, all of Butler; and a brother, Thomas Huff of Chicora. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. Friends will be received at the Frank S. Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Park.
