The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Everhart-Jackson-Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 1205 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, with Masonic Rites at 10:45 by Free and Accepted Masons York Lodge 266.
Mr. DeHoff was born in York. He was the son of the late Alvin H. and Fannie (Wiest) DeHoff.
He was a school teacher at William Penn Senior High School and York County Area Vocational-Technical School, retiring in 1974.
A graduate of William Penn Senior High School with the Class of 1927, he attended Penn State University.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where he served as an elder and former president of the consistory.
Affiliated with Masonry, he belonged to Free and Accepted Masons York Lodge 266, of York Royal Arch Chapter 199, the York Gethsemane Commandry 21, the York County Shrine Club, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon York Forest 30.
A member of the Anchor Club of the Young Men's Christian Association, he belonged to the Geritol Gang of Grandview Golf Course.
Mr. DeHoff also is survived by a son, Jacob R. DeHoff of York; a daughter, Doris D. Walter of Manchester Township; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin H. DeHoff of Kennett Square, Chester County; and two sisters, Fann Kauffman, and Dorothy Luckenbaugh, both of York.
Officiating at the service will be his pastors, the Rev. Dr. Marion D. Pocker and the Rev. Pamela J. Keckler.
