Leona Joyce, 84, died Nov. 2 at home in Garden City.
The Statesboro native was a longtime resident of Chatham County. She was the widow of Eugene Joyce and member of First Baptist Church of Garden City. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant daughter, Mary Linda Joyce [8-21-1947]
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Jones of Savannah and Suzanne Patten of Richmond Hill; two sisters, Eva Mitchell of Savannah and Vera Rushing of Statesboro; six
grandsons, Jason, Brent and Jared Patten and Chris, Scott and Todd Jones; a great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
