Clifford A. Mossey, age 91 of Manchester Township, passed away Wednesday, August 22,2012 at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Born and raised in Wharton, he lived most of his life in Randolph, retiring to East Dorset, VT for twenty-five years before moving to Crestwood Manor in Whiting in 2005. He worked for Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, NJ as a Professional Engineer before his retirement 1981. He served his country in the US Army, 94th Infantry Division, during World War II. He was a devoted husband and father who will be missed dearly by his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Nellie (Lewthwaite) Mossey in 2005 and his parents Aurel and Irene (Trudeau) Mossey. Surviving are his daughter Sue Laufer and her husband Ken of Denville, his loving companion Dorothy Blank of Whiting and his faithful companion Jette, a standard poodle.

Funeral Services for Clifford will be held Tuesday, August 28th at 10:30 am at Brewster Fuenral Services,34 Park Place Manchester, VT. Internment will follow in South Village Cemetery in East Dorset, VT. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday August 28th from 10-10:30 am when the family will be in attendance. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Clifford's name to: Home For Our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
