Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo on Thursday, September 27th at 10:00 AM. Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. in the Lorenzo Cemetery.
Mrs. Joiner was born in Oklahoma, on July 30, 1912, to Jessie Clemons Dycus and Margaret Caroline Collins Dycus. She was united in marriage to Henry Grady Joiner on December 24, 1932 and was married 48 years at his death in 1980.
Mrs. Joiner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Joe Robert Joiner and his wife; Patsy Ruth Law Joiner; her son Max Joiner; grandson Jimmy Don Joiner, brother, Larkin Dycus, and sister, Zephyr Mae Dycus Loftis. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Caroline Joiner Durham and husband, Bo of Burleson, daughter in law Patricia Smith and her husband A.O; her son, Gerre Joiner and his wife, Jo, of Decatur; 2 brothers, Gene and J.C. Dycus, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends who will miss her deeply.
