John Larry Crawley, 74, of Tyler, Texas, went home to be with his savior on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

John Larry Crawley was born on April 11, 1938 in Tyler, Texas.

He graduated from Tyler High in 1954, served with the National Guard, and was a used car sales manager and Vice President of Holley Motor Company for 28 years. He then was owner of Larry Crawley used cars of Tyler. He was a member of Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church, a member of St. John's Lodge #53 of Tyler, T.B. Bonner Lodge #118 of Mt. Sylvan, member of Waco Scottish Rites, a 44 year member of Sharon Shrine and the last charter member of Sharon Shrine Oriental Band.

He is preceded in death by parents, Johnny Leonard and Mary Ellen Pool Crawley of Tyler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Lou Morgan Crawley; brother, Tommy Crawley and wife Lynn; sons, Larry Bryan Crawley and John Leslie Crawley; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Burial: Tyler Memorial Park, Tyler, Texas
