Daniel S. Bohnert, 1319 South Walnut street, died at 10 a.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 1. He was a printer at the Illinois State Register for many years and was 66 years old.
Some years ago, at Pleasant Plains, he published The Review, a weekly newspaper. He was a member of Typographical union local No 177.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Kirlin & Egan funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament church. Msgr. M.A. Tarrant will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine; mother, Mrs. May Bohnert, of Pleasant Plains; a brother, George Bohnert, of Pleasant Plains; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Purvines, of Pleasant Plains, and Mrs. Eva Yoeman, of DeKalb, Ill.
