Bruno, March 4 - Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Franke were held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. Father Bauer having charge of the services and saying the Requiem Mass. Frances Maca Franke was born in Moravia, Czechoslovakia, on Oct. 15, 1851 and was 77 years, 4 months and 12 days of age at the time of her death. She was the widow of Ernest Franke, who passed away in Moravia. After his death Mrs. Franke came to the United States 19 years ago at the request of her sister, Mrs. Anton Abraham, who was an invalid at that time. Mrs. Franke took charge of the Abraham household and cared for her sister until Mrs. Abraham's death some time later. Eight years ago Mr. Abraham and daughter, Miss Cecelia, and Mrs. Franke moved to Bruno. In August, 1927, Mr. Abraham died, and since then Mrs. Franke and Miss Abraham had continued to make their home in Bruno. Early Monday morning, Feb. 25, Mrs. Franke suffered a stroke of apoplexy from which she did not recover consciousness and she passed away at 4:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 27.
