Geraldine I. Adams"Geri" 1924 ~ 2004 Geraldine Iris Adams, age 80, died Nov. 4, 2004 of natural causes at her home in Fruit Heights, Utah. Geri was born June 29th, 1924 in Eminence, Missouri. She was the daughter of Everett and Bessie Staples Counts. At the age of 17, April 11, 1942, she began a 62-year marriage with her loving husband, Clarence Ray Adams. They lived in Missouri, Washington, and Oregon before moving to Utah in 1956. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She seldom worked outside the home. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook; her pies and cookies were incomparable. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Bountiful, Utah. Geri is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray; five children, Jeanine Green, Don (Carol) Adams, Darlene (Jose) Santos, Glenn Adams and Lynn (Keely) Adams; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis (Richard) Daniels and her brother Billy (Pat) Robinson. Our family would like to express our gratitude to the staff of Rocky Mountain Hospice, with special thanks to Mary, Renee and Aaron for their most compassionate care. Graveside services will be held Nov. 10, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., in West Jordan. There will be a private family viewing for one hour prior to services. Friends are invited to the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Rocky Mountain Hospice at 5250 S. Commerce Dr. Ste. 270, Murray, Utah 84107.
