"Mrs. Charles Griffin of Richmondville died at the Binghamton State hospital Tuesday, September 11th, at the age of 62 years. Mrs. Jennie Griffin was born August 29, 1872, at Summit the daughter of Ambrose Dibble and Margaret Sperbeck Dibble. She married Charles Griffin who survives her. Besides her husband she is also survived by seven children, Orrin Griffin, Mrs. Arthur Boughton and Mrs. Burdette Putnam of East Worcester, Samuel Griffin and Mrs. Harold Johns of Richmondville, Mrs. Earl Holloway of Howes Cave, Mrs. Elmer Bissett of Cobleskill, a sister, Mrs. John Carr of Greenfield, Mass., and three brothers, Alfred Dibble of Richmondville, David Dibble of Oneonta and Charles Dibble of Charlotteville. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, September 14th, at 2 o'clock at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Earl Holloway, at Howes Cave, with Rev. Foster W. Taylor officiating.
