Annie Lou Ryan 72, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at her home in Hopewell community after a brief illness.

Services were Friday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Gentry and Bro. Danny Short officiating. Graveside services were held at the Victory Independent Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Ryan had worked for Blue Bell for 12 yearn. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She was a member of the Victory Independent Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Holland Ryan Booneville; three children, George Gany Ryan and his wife, Patsy, of Nettleton, Sheila Ann Rakestraw of Tupelo and Debbie Kay Tithe and her husband, Don, of Booneville; seven grandchildren, Missy Rakestraw McKinney her husband, Joe, of Verona, Vicki Rakestraw Browning and her husband, William, of New Albany, Christopher Wayne Rakestraw of Tupelo, Keith Ryan and his wife, Christy, of Baneville, Heath Matthew Ryan his wife, Ashley. of Cape Giradeau, Mo., Gregory Allen Tittle and Shonica Nichole Tittle both of Booneville; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Hannon Hooper and his wile, Francis, of Gasden, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Walton and Clauda Ostilla Hooper two sisters, Bernice Michaels and Edna Mae Castleberry; brothers, William Roland Hooper, Claudie Lee Hooper and Horace Allen Hooper.

Pallbearers were Keith Ryan, Heath Ryan, Joe MeKinney, Richey Arnold, Chris Rakestraw, Greg Tittle, William Browning and Mike Mink Annie Ryan
