Marlys Ann Clark, 77, of Keokuk, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at her home.

She was born on February 14, 1935 in Holland, Iowa, a daughter to John and Mary Hiemmes Boekhoff. She married Carroll E. Clark, Sr., on March 26, 1955 in Boone, Iowa and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1995.

Marlys was a member of the Christian faith. She was from a family of twenty-one children.

She is survived by two sons: Rick Clark and his wife Rachel of Fairfield, Iowa and Carroll E. Clark, Jr., of Keokuk, Iowa; one daughter Kathleen Wallenburg and her husband Tim of Longmont, Colorado; eleven grandchildren: Shawn(Lauren) Clark, Leanne Clark, Jeremy Clark, Marcus Clark, Matthew (Heather) Wallenburg, Mary Wallenburg, David (Kelly) Wallenburg, Kandi Clark, Kelsy Clark, Blake Clark, Emily Clark; two great grandchildren: Nathan and Christian Clark one brother: Arnold (Deloris) Boekhoff of Wellsburg, Iowa; one sister Esther Smith of Conrod, Iowa. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eighteen brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of her Life will be on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center located at 917 Blondeau Street in Keokuk, Iowa with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa.

There will be no visitation.
