Wilder, 84, of Adams Center,
formerly of Watertown, who
died Saturday morning in the
House of the Good Samaritan,
will be Tuesday morning at
8:30 at the Cummings funeral
home and at 9 in Holy
Family church. Burial will be
in Glenwood cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home this afternoon
and evening from 3 to 5 and
7 to 9.
Mr. Wilder had been a patient
in the hospital for a
week.
Mr. Wilder is survived by a
d a u g h t e r , Mrs. John W.
(Gladys) Bloodough, Adams
Center, with whom he had
been living; two sons, Fred,
Gouverneur; J a m e s , Cape
Vincent; a sister, Mrs. Henrietta
LaPatra, Watertown; two
brothers, Frank and Floyd,
both of Watertown; two halfbrothers,
Roy Crandall, Watertown;
Lawrence Crandall,
Syracuse; one half-sister, Mrs.
John Moffatt, Boston, Mass.;
nine grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
He was born in Dexter, Sept.
5, 1883, son of James and Mae
Dexmore Wilder. He had
b e e n associated with his
brothers, Frank and Floyd, in
the trucking business before
he went to work for the New
York Air Brake company. He
worked at the Air Brake for
years.
