F/O F. Konrad was an RCAF pilot with 422 Squadron at 4 (F) Wing, Baden Germany. He was killed when his F-86 Sabre aircraft flew into a hill.

Commemorated on Page 75 of Canada's 'In the Service of Canada' Book of Remembrance.

F/L F. KONRAD is one of 107 airmen's names inscribed on the Honour Roll on the Sabre Pilots Memorial at RCAF Memorial Museum in Trenton, Ontario, Canada; the unveiling ceremony of the Sabre Pilots Memorial took place on 19 June 1998.
