Wildan Courtney Middleton, 62, died Sunday, June 5, at Beacon Place.

A Graveside Service will be held for the family at 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Greenhill Cemetery.

Mr. Middleton was preceded in death by his parents James Allan Middleton and Nelle Saddler Middleton.

He is survived by his daughter, Kate Middleton and her husband Dan Wheeless and Kate's mother Corrie Middleton, his brother, Jim Middleton and wife, Julie, his nephews Allan Middleton, wife, Renee and daughters, Addison and Parker, Tripp Middleton, Julian Middleton, wife, Alexe and son Ben.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all the staff at Duke Hospital, Wesley Long Palliative Care Unit and Beacon Place and also to his wonderful friends who helped support Courtney and his family during his illness.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Gardens at Beacon Place Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
