Callah Leone Boelling, daughter of Othello and Lillian Hunsinger Moody, was born June 11, 1906, at Belleville, and died December 13, 2002, at the Republic County Hospital Long Term Care, at the age of 96.
She graduated from Belleville High School and worked many years at the Belleville Medical Clinic.
On July 17, 1927, she was united in marriage of Clifford Ward. He preceded her in death in 1965.
She lived in the Belleville community and was involved in the United Methodist Church, O.E.S. Ophal Chapter 115, and the Delphian Club.
Boelling was married to Emery Swede Boelling on April 16, 1970. He preceded her in death in 1988.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; brother Glenn Moody; and sister Nina Daniels.
She is survived by her sons, William Ward, Wichita, and David Ward, Cincinnati, OH; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; and the children of Emery Boelling.
Services were held December 18 at the First United Methodist Church of Belleville, with Pastor William Brazil officiating. Burial was in the Belleville City Cemetery.
