Viola K. Weimer, 95, Rockwood, passed on Feb. 9, 2007, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born March 1, 1911, in Black Township, she is the daughter of the late Adam and Myrtle (Miller) Baker. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Weimer in 1967; daughter, Virginia Koontz; Grandson, Jeff Gardner; brother, Robert Baker; and sisters, Violet Sanner, Dora Humbert, Florence Hayman and Mabel Weimer. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Gardner; and husband, Don, Englewood, Fla.; son Richard Weimer and wife Ruth (Geary) of Rockwood, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a retired food service worker for Rockwood High School. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Reformed Church in Rockwood. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. The Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Trinity Reformed Church Building fund at Main St. Rockwood, PA 15557.
