Butler Eagle, June 6, 1977:

Stephen A Lipnichan Sr, 85, of Bruin, died early this morning at the Bonetti Health Care Center, Harrisville, after an illness.
Born in Yugoslavia, February 22, 1892, he was the son of Stephen and Mary Lipnichan.
He was retired from the former Pressed Steel Car Company, and since then has been a farmer in Bruin.
He was a member of St Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Pittsburgh.
Surviving are his wife, Tereza Matis Lipnichan; four sons, Joseph S. Lipnichan of Bruin, Sam of Pittsburgh, Richard F. And Robert T J , both of Bruin; four daughters, Mrs Julia Roberts and Margaret M Lipnichan , both of Pittsburgh, Mrs Leo (Millie) Barkus and Mrs M.E. (Josephine) Chilcott, both of Butler; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Lipnichan in Argentina; and a sister in Yugoslavia.
A son and two daughters preceded him in death.
