My grandfather, James Alexander Mosteller was 83 years old when he passed away and died at his home located at 311 Furman Hall Road in Greenville, South Carolina.

He was a retired superintendent of maintenance and distribution for Greenville Water Works.

He was survived by his second wife, Corrie Davidson Mosteller and three daughters and one son, Ruth M. Waldrop, Lois M. Barnett, and Doris M. Vinskus of Greenville. His daughter Alma Leo died in 1966.
Charles Alexander Mosteller of Williamston, Anderson County, South Carolina. His son James Roy Mosteller died when he was three years old. My grandfather had one grandson, Ronald James Davis living at his home.

He was survived by one sister, Julia M. Long of Greenville and two brothers, Johnny Mosteller of Greenville and Garland Mosteller of Spindale, North Carolina.

Funeral Survices were held at Agnew Road Baptist Church with in interment at Springwood.

His obituary was published in The Greenville News-Greenville, South Carolina on the 11 th day of February 1981 Page 108.
