She was born November 17, 1957, in Wellsboro, the daughter of Robert and Joanne (Bacon) Eaton of Pleasureville.
She was a 1975 graduate of Central York High School and graduated in 2006 as an LPN from Hanover School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for Health South and prior to that, 20 years for Dallco Industries. She was a member of the VFW Ladies auxillary, an avid card club member for 30 plus years, and a N.Y. Yankees fan. She enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband and spending time with her granddaughter, Ava.
Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., York, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Nathan D. Conklin officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two sons, Derek L. King and his wife, Dana A. of York, and Bryce R. King of York; a granddaughter, Ava; a brother, Richard O. Cary of York; a niece, Paris Cary; and many wonderful friends.
