CARLINVILLE - Margaret B. Heil, 95, of Carlinville died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 30, 1904, in Carlinville, the daughter of Harry William and Barbara Bradac Beasley. She married Dr. B.M. Baird; he preceded her in death. She later married Henry Louis Heil; he also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Heil was a 1924 graduate of Carlinville High School and a 1927 graduate of St. Louis City Hospital Nursing School. She was a licensed nurse at Carlinville Area Hospital and also at hospitals in St. Louis and California.
She was a member of Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Louis School of Nursing Alumni.
Survivors: a son, Allan John Baird of Santa Ana, Calif.; a daughter, Lois (husband, Robert) Kelley of Maryland Heights, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Remains were donated to Washington University School of Medicine.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Heinz Funeral Home in Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
